The #1 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks used an impressive fourth quarter surge to defeat the #5 ranked Washington Huskies in a thrilling road victory. Led by sophomore guard AJ Lawson, who scored 25 points, and freshman forward Justin Minaya, who added 19 points and 13 rebounds, the Gamecocks used a balanced offensive attack and tough defense late in the game to come away with the win. The victory was the fourth straight for South Carolina, who now sits atop the rankings.
